Dr. Kenneth L. Poag grew up in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and has remained deeply connected to his grassroots heritage. After graduating from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, Dr. Poag built a diverse and entrepreneurial career spanning healthcare, agriculture, and manufacturing. He pursued farming in Williamson County and Marshall County, launched medical clinics in Davidson County during the 1980s, and expanded into manufacturing with a molding company in the 1990s.

In 2022, Dr. Poag acquired Mid TN Fence, LLC from his entrepreneur son, Mathieu Poag. Since that time, his pioneering business spirit and focused vision have driven continued growth across Middle Tennessee. Under his leadership, Mid TN Fence has strengthened long-standing relationships with clients, vendors, and team members, while maintaining strategic partnerships with MTC Constructors, Inc. and TriStar Fire, LLC.
